Culver Butter Burgers is one of hte families favorite spots to grab a bite when on the road. Addie likes the chicken, Maggie likes their smoothies, I like all of it. Barb enjoys the burgers and we almost always grab an ice cream. They are just starting to come near us (in Ohio or southern Michigan) and they would probally loose some of their appeal if they were close by.

We sing a silly song ala Bob the Builder. It goes:

Green Bay is one of our favorite places to visit. Just south is a wonderful family restaturant in Hollandtown. Local legend has it that Vince Lombardi used to take the Green Bay Packers to dinners at Van Abel's. And I can see why, great family style dining, great price, if you leave here hungry its your own fault. I think they have hte best baked ham I have ever had in a restaurant.

Erbert & Gerberts is a Subshop in Wisconsin and Minnesota. We remember this spot from a getaway weekend in 2003. Maggie was in Toronto with her Orchestra and Barb, Addie, and I decided to take a train to Milwaukee. We didn't rent a car in Milwaukee and walked around downtown. We found Erbert & Gerbert and had a nice sandwhich. We then bought some for the train trip home and they were perfect for train travel. Thus a spot we like.
